The issue I am presenting is males’ body image and appearance. I feel that males have some of the same body image issue as woman. I picked this issue because I feel that it has never really talked about as deeply as woman also because of males not trying to feeling scared to talk about their issues. I hope to accomplish a different set of minds for young boys and adults. Males need to realize they do not need to change their bodies to feel part of males’ body image as society shows us. Media is trying to change the way one looks at himself, in the way that as much as you try it’s never enough. The bodies we see in media are not real bodies. What mean with this is that many males need to put himself threw substances to get does type of bodies which in long term shock your system. A experience I had is growing up I was always a little over weight, once I came into school I started to look more and more at guys in TV, movie and everywhere media could get a picture which was a talk buff guys with a six pack. So I started doing sports and it worked I was losing weight and started to notice that I was get more attention from before. The issue becomes more critical when people take it to the next level and sadly become anorexic, take substances or just ruined their growth by working out to early before they have fully developed.
